I had the pleasure of styling a photo shoot recently and working with the very talented photographer James Melia and gorgeous actress Roxy Shahidi.
Our aim was to create over 10 different looks, showcasing the different sides of Roxy’s personality for her to use for multiple media outlets. The pieces used for the shoot were a nice mixture of high end and high street. Some current season and some previously loved. It’s important for me to mix in an element of pre-loved items into as much of my work as possible, to get a more sustainable balance between new and old.
The styling was a true high/low mix with some pieces linked below for you:
COS – Grey Trousers, White T-shirt
Hermes – Kelly 18 Belt in Etoupe
Joseph Fashion – Navy ‘Camia’ coat
Lisa Yang – Grey ‘Heidi’ Knit
Marks & Spencer – Necklace, Shoes
Michael Kors – Neon Dress (pictured on this post)
Victoria Beckham – Orange Dress
Zara – Cream Linen Jacket, Khaki Green Linen Shirt
I’ve added a couple of shots & out takes for you to see below. It was such a fun day
If you’re a creative, actor or anyone who needs to build a portfolio of beautiful personal brand imagery, James is your man!
